Dr. Tobie Beckerman
FounderDr. Tobie Beckerman is an OB/GYN and integrative gynecologist at Beckerman Women’s Health in Maryland. She has been practicing general obstetrics and gynecology in the Washington, D.C. area since 1988 and has been loving every minute of it. In 2009 she veered from the traditional busy office setting in order to create a unique gynecology practice that would give women time, comfort, connection and cutting-edge medicine.
A native Washingtonian, Dr. Beckerman graduated with honors from the University of Maryland with a B.S. in nutrition research, attended the George Washington University School of Medicine, and completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at George Washington University Hospital. Dr. Beckerman is regularly voted one of the top gynecologist by a survey of patients conducted by Bethesda Magazine. She is often recognized and featured in publications for her compassionate approach to medicine. Dr. Beckerman is also recognized in the community for her expertise in menopause management and genetic screening for breast cancer. She speaks both publicly and with individual physicians, educating them on these topics.
She finds being a doctor deeply rewarding and receives tremendous gratification in taking care of women of all ages throughout their lives. Dr. Beckerman takes the time and attention to sit down and talk face-to-face with all of her patients for 30-60 minutes, getting acquainted with their personalities, families, and personal interests, and customizes treatment options to each woman’s unique needs and preferences. Dr. Beckerman has built a practice that cares for women both inside and out supporting them through the aging process with not only elevated gynecologic care but also cosmetic treatments and supportive therapies focused on pelvic floor and vaginal health. Dr. Beckerman additionally is focused on building a team of providers and staff who feel just as passionate about patient care and connection as she does.
Dr. Tobie Beckerman embraces spirituality, is active in her community and with numerous charities, loves sports, the outdoors, and keeping up with current events. Above all, she is passionate about her family — her pride and joy — which include three children, two of whom are married, and six grandchildren.
Lisa Holloway, WHNP-BC
Aesthetic & Women's Health Nurse PractitionerLisa is certified by the National Certification Corporation as a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner. She completed her training at Vanderbilt University where she received a Bachelor of Science in Human and Organizational Development with a focus in Health and Human Services. She then went on to receive a Masters in Nursing, specializing in Women’s Health, and was accepted into the honor society for nursing.
Lisa has been living and practicing in the Washington DC area, with her husband and three children, since 2005, where she has accumulated a variety of clinical experiences. She worked in Labor & Delivery at Georgetown Hospital and is a certified Childbirth Educator. Lisa cared for an underserved population of women as a provider at a nonprofit reproductive health care clinic, and practiced for over a decade in private OB/GYN practice performing full scope gynecologic and prenatal care.
Over the years, Lisa’s clinical focus has remained caring for women holistically throughout the lifespan with compassion. With this in mind Lisa began gaining specialized training in Aesthetic Medicine in 2022 studying with local experts in non-invasive cosmetic procedures and injectables. She prioritizes safety and is always training to expand and fine tune her skills. As someone who enjoys working with her hands she sees her aesthetic practice as an art form where soft natural results are always the goal. She believes aging can be a beautiful process but believes that aging gracefully does not mean doing nothing and that it’s ok to want to look and feel your best!
Lisa’s goal as a Nurse Practitioner is to make sure every patient feels heard and empowered to achieve their optimal health and happiness.
Judith B. Handjinicolaou, FNP-BC
Aesthetic Nurse Practitioner
Judith B. Handjinicolaou is a Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner who has specialized in medical and aesthetic dermatology since 2005. Her professional resume commenced in 1977 with professional experiences in critical care, surgery, medicine, public health, and hospital administration. She was Associate Director of Manhattan Eye, Ear, Nose and Throat Hospital in NYC, where she developed a strong interest in reconstructive, and plastic surgery procedures that had lifechanging effects on her patients. Her decision to direct her patient care towards clinical practice focusing in Dermatology and Aesthetic Medicine became her focus.
Judith thinks that,” everyone has something beautiful about them, be it their eyes, their lips, shape of face,” and in fact, she strongly thinks that using skills to enhance a person’s natural beauty artistically is her strength. Her consults are specialized to understand and listen to her patients’ thoughts and needs and together she develops a care plan that will enhance an optimal outcome for her clients. Her vast knowledge about the different trade brands of Botulinum toxins used cosmetically to reduce muscle movement and soften wrinkles help determine the best product for her clients. Her knowledge of fillers and their uses enhance discussion with her clients producing artistic results for her clients.
Skin analysis is a specialty that she enjoys, sharing with her clients her knowledge and experience with skin care and products and other dermal procedures to produce a positive change in appearance. Judith’s skin care analysis and recommendations are individualized to the issues of the particular client and her dermatology training and knowledge is an advantage to her care plan.
Paige Sacher, Esthetician
EstheticianWith over 20 years of experience as a medical esthetician, Paige has built a career rooted in results-driven, personalized skin care across both Florida and the DMV area. Her background spans spa management, as well as serving as a spa educator in medical spas and plastic surgery practices, where she has trained teams and elevated treatment standards. Over the years, she has worked with virtually every skin type and condition, giving her a deep, intuitive understanding of how to tailor treatments that are both corrective and supportive of long-term skin health.
Paige is especially passionate about working with women through every stage of life, with a focused expertise in aging skin, all phases of menopause, adult acne, and rosacea. Her approach centers on comprehensive consultations that go beyond the surface taking into account each client’s lifestyle, diet, and both short- and long-term goals. She believes education is key, and prioritizes guiding clients toward the right home care products and routines to achieve lasting, healthy results. Paige's mission is to empower every client with the knowledge and confidence to care for their skin not just today, but for a lifetime.
